Training Description

The youth outreach worker’s training will focus on youth outreach basics, including engaging the highest-risk, utilizing violence data, the day-to-day work, and the public health approach to addressing violence. In addition, this training will highlight the roles of violence prevention and intervention. By attending this training, participants will have tools necessary to be successful in their roles. As a result participating youth outreach workers will be even more equipped to make a positive impact on their communities and the youth they serve.
